Standard Issue
Welcome Recruit!
You have been instructed by Swords to Plowshares to create hygiene kits for our brave veterans! As some of you may know, even after the valiant service of our Veterans, they are often the victims of neglect and poor living conditions. This is where your expertise, attention to detail and camaraderie is needed.
Your task for this project is to create a Standard Issue care package, a package that includes all the essentials for our brave veterans to live a healthy and functioning life. However there is a stipulation as requested by Swords to Plowshares: All boxes prepared by you and your fellow ABK volunteers must be uniform and close in quality to one another.
This landing page acts as a nexus with all of the other volunteers who signed up for this task. Utilise this hub to double check your inventory, and cross-reference finished products with one another.
For this project you are instructed to purchase the materials in the Amazon wish list provided by. We highly recommend using the Amazon smile program when completing your purchases and fulfilling your inventory. Amazon smile is an amazing program that supports agencies and non-profit organizations like Swords to Plowshares and HandsOn Bay Area by providing 0.5% of eligible purchases to your favorite charitable organization - no fees, no extra cost. You can select a nonprofit of your choice to support with your Amazon purchases.
